FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 15-year-old table tennis prodigy from Fulton County will represent the country at the Table Tennis World Championships next month in South Korea.
Amber Liu, a sophomore at Johns Creek High School, has been playing table tennis since she was only 7 years old. She currently travels the world competing in elite competitions in between her training, piano lessons and school work.
Most recently, Liu competed in the U.S. trials for the Table Tennis World Championship in Texas. There, she placed in the top four of her age group, earning her a spot to compete in Busan, South Korea, in February.
Congratulations Amber!
