FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- On Monday night, Fulton County leaders discussed the future of their newest city, South Fulton.
After residents raised a number of questions about the transition, county leaders called a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for residents to hear plans for the new city.
During the meeting, Commissioners made it clear that Fulton County will maintain police, fire and all other services at their current level, or better, until South Fulton is up and running smoothly.
The county will also work with a governor-appointed transition team that will operate until voters elect city officials in March.
