ATLANTA (AP) - The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has launched a live online streamof a pair of peregrine falcons nesting more than 50 stories over downtown Atlanta.

Officials say the falcons are incubating three eggs atop SunTrust Plaza Tower. Wildlife officials say falcons have been nesting on SunTrust Plaza Tower balconies since 1997.

Officials say the camera was installed in 2013 but was moved inside the building to avoid disturbing the birds during their nesting period.

Wildlife officials say the birds were once considered endangered by federal officials but have rebounded because of population recovery initiatives. Officials say the birds are still rare in Georgia.
