GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Police in northern metro Atlanta are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Saturday afternoon.
The Gainesville Police Department initially confirmed the shooting just after 5 p.m. The shooting happened in the area of Desota Street and investigators said the victim died at the scene.
