Gainesville man arrested on child molestation charges

According to investigators, Hall groped the victims after asking them random questions

HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- The Hall County Sheriff's Office and Gainesville police have arrested a man they believe is responsible for the sexual assault of two teens in the New Holland community.

Gwinnett police investigators arrested 54-year-old James Jackson Hall III at his Gainesville, Georgia home Thursday. Hall's arrest stems from two separate groping incidents that occurred in the New Holland area late January.

According to investigators, Hall would approach the victims, ask random questions, grope them and leave the area.

Hall is charged with two counts of child molestation and two counts of sexual battery. He is currently being held in the Hall County Jail.
