Welcome to the world! Meet these 2024 New Year's Day babies

Hospitals in the area shared some of the 2024 New Year's Day babies born.

ATLANTA — While the world was busy ringing in the new year, some metro Atlanta moms welcomed little bundles of joy into the world.

Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center and Wellstar Health System shared pictures of some of the 2024 New Year's Day babies born at their hospitals with 11Alive.

Nova Eren

Little Nova Eren was the first Wellstar Health System baby born into the new year. Her mother, Shanisisa Stewart, gave birth at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 1. at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center. She weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces. Her family is from Villa Rica.

Tristan J.M. Felix

Ryanne McKellar and Victor Felix welcomed a little boy into the world at 9:46 a.m. Tristan J.M. Felix was born at Wellstar Douglas Medical Center weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces. His parents are from Douglasville. 

Micah T. Stephens

Little Micah's mother gave birth at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center at 2:55 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 11.9 ounces. His family is from Woodstock. 

Mecca King

Quasana Moore gave birth to Mecca King at 1:43 a.m. at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Moore lives in Atlanta.

Easton Tye Sudduth

Easton Tye Sudduth was born at 11:14 a.m. His parents, Madison Sudduth and Jody Clay welcomed him into the world at Wellstar Spalding Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces. 

Alessia Emersyn Miamen

Little Alessia Emersyn Miamen was born at 10:49 a.m. Her parents -- who are from LaGrange -- welcomed her into the world at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. She was 7 pounds, 8 ounces. 

Rowan Kaye Henson

Little Rowan Kaye Henson was born at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. Her parents, Dakota Blalock and Colby Henson welcomed her into the world at 12:56 p.m. at 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
