ATLANTA — Georgia is home to five of the best counties to live in America, according to a survey conducted by Niche.com.
The list ranks counties nationwide based on public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities using data from the U.S. Census, BLS, CDC, and other sources.
Five north Georgia counties appeared in the top 50 counties on the list, with two making the top ten and all receiving an A+ rating from the website.

As for the top spot on the list, Howard County, Maryland, was named the #1 best place to live in America.
