ATLANTA — Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is slated to attend the state's 36th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration of Service on Friday. 

The event will take place today at the North Wing of the Georgia State Capitol around noon.

The event will be hosted by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Advisory Council in partnership with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, according to the press release. Other state leaders are also expected to attend.
