GRIFFIN, Ga. -- A Griffin High School teacher has been arrested after she was accused of raping a student.
According to the Spalding County Sheriff's Office, Brandy Nickels has been charged with statutory rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, child molestation, sodomy and enticing a child.
Nickels, according to the school website, was a language arts teacher at the school.
Police are investigating whether she will face additional charges involving other students.
