GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A driver died in a crash early Tuesday morning in Gwinnett County, police said.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said its Accident Investigation Unit responded just before 3 a.m. to the crash on Hwy. 316 near Cedars Road.
In a statement, the department said: "The driver of a motor vehicle left the roadway and struck the rear of another vehicle that was parked on the right shoulder. The driver died as a result of their injuries."
There was no identifying information immediately available about the driver.
