Gwinnett County teacher to appear on 'Jeopardy!'

Kelly Mraz, or as her students know her, β€œMrs. Mraz,” will represent Gwinnett County schools with her appearance on Jeopardy.

A Gwinnett County teacher will appear on 'Jeopardy!' Monday night.

Kelly Mraz, or as her students know her, β€œMrs. Mraz,” will represent Gwinnett County Public Schools with her appearance on the show, according to a Facebook post from R.D. Head Elementary.  

Mraz is a music teacher at R.D. Head Elementary school in Lilburn. She will be playing at 7:30 p.m., the same time as the National Championship game between UGA and TCU.

Our very own Mrs. Mraz will be on Jeopardy!! Please tune in on January 9th at 7:30 PM to cheer her on!! πŸ₯³πŸ’™πŸ₯³πŸ’™πŸ₯³πŸ’™ And yes,...

Staff β€œwill be watching the game on one TV and Mrs. Mraz on another,” according to the social media post.

'Jeopardy!' airs on 11Alive at 7:30 p.m.  

Mraz is not the first metro Atlanta teacher to appear on 'Jeopardy!.' In April of 2022, Leah Pence was featured on the show. Pence is a social studies teacher at The Galloway School in Atlanta.
