The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office said Thursday the operation had been undertaken in Norcross area.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Three missing juveniles were recovered in Gwinnett County thanks to a recent human trafficking operation, the sheriff's office said on Thursday.

The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office said its Trafficking and Child Exploitation (TRACE) Unit had recently conducted the operation in the area of Oakbrook Parkway in Norcross.

No identifying information was provided about the three juveniles, but the sheriff's office said all three had been reported missing through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Exact details of the operation and the trafficking operation were not provided. The sheriff's office did not say if any arrests were made or if there will be charges in this case.

The three juveniles are now being given access to services from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Mosaic Georgia, the sheriff's office said.

"The Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) assisted with custodial matters related to the juveniles. The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding our community and will continue to tirelessly pursue individuals who seek to exploit children," a release said.

The sheriff's office asked anyone who has tips about possible trafficking situations to report information to their tip line at 770-619-6655.
