HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A family is without a home this Christmas after it caught fire early Monday morning.
Hall County Fire Rescue was called to a two-story home along Lamplighter Cove Road to put out a residential fire. Crews found the home fully engulfed in flames, firefighters said.
Firefighters began a defensive attack, eventually suppressing the fire from the outside of the home. No one was hurt, firefighters said, as the people inside were able to leave the home before crews even arrived.
The American Red Cross is now helping the two displaced adults and one child. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office, authorities said.
