Arches Brewing announced that it will soon be closing its Hapeville taproom.

The brewery posted on Instagram that it's moving and currently looking for a new space of around 4,000 sq. ft.

Arches Brewing will bid farewell to its location along Dogwood Drive on Saturday, May 18.

"Back in 2016, we began this humble journey with a goal to make great beer, friends, and a whole lot of memories. Thanks to your unwavering support, we did just that... for EIGHT YEARS," the post said. "The community of beer lovers, friends, neighbors, and so many others - helped us live out this dream."

"We want to bring a space that can provide regular entertainment, live events, festivals, good beverages and food," the brewery added. "We ask you to come show your love this Spring, enjoy your favorites, bring your friends, make memories ... and stay tuned."

Back in 2020, 11Alive featured Arches Brewing as the taproom got "crafty" during the COVID pandemic. Like many other breweries, the Hapeville taproom pivoted to offering curbside pickup and online beer for sale.

At that time, head brewer Justin Ramirez previously said that they just wanted to "raise spirits."
