A Hillgrove High School student is behind bars after allegedly threatening to "beat up" a police officer at the school.
Police arrested 18-year-old Andre Lewis Wednesday for reportedly making threats towards authorities and teachers after being suspended for stealing from another student.
A Cobb County warrant says that Lewis made threats of physical violence towards the school resource officer, as well as threatened to "put hands on anyone at Hillgrove High School."
Lewis is charged with Making Terroristic Threats, as well as Disorderly Conduct and Disruption of a Public School. All charges are misdemeanors.
