ATLANTA — The James "Sloppy" Floyd Building, which is near the State Capitol, is being evacuated Thursday afternoon due to a "threatening letter" that one of the offices received, according to Georgia State Patrol.
GSP said the offices are taking precautionary measures to evacuate the building.
GA Senate Republicans also tweeted about the evacuation. The building houses thousands of state employees.
11Alive has a crew headed to the scene, we'll continue to update as we learn more.
