ATLANTA — For another consecutive year, Atlanta has ranked No. 1 for the best city to start a career, according to a new report from WalletHub.
The financial website released its 2024 list of the best and worst places to start a career in the U.S. on Monday. According to the survey, Atlanta took the top spot with a total score of 65.84, slightly down from last year's ranking of 66.87.
To determine the rankings, WalletHub researchers compared 182 cities-- based on 26 key metrics, including the availability of entry-level jobs, average monthly starting salary and housing affordability. Researchers also compared professional opportunities and quality of life.
