1 shot in Johns Creek neighborhood, police say

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Police are investigating after a person was shot in a neighborhood in Johns Creek on Wednesday evening. 

Authorities said the shooting happened on Baccarat Court in the Country Lake subdivision. The neighborhood is not far from Chattahoochee High School, off Taylor Road. 

The Johns Creek Police Department said that officers received a call reporting shots fired in the area shortly after 4 p.m. When officers arrived, they found two men at the scene. Police said that one of the men had a gunshot wound, and the other was secured at the time.

The police department is asking residents in the area to review their security cameras for any footage that may show a man dressed in gray pants and a black shirt walking in the neighborhood.
