JONESBORO, Ga. — Jonesboro High School's marching band is drawing praise online after performing at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.
More than 160 members of the Majestic Marching Cardinals participated in the nationally televised parade. And more than a few viewers of the iconic parade said Jonesboro brought the best performance of the day.
The band, known for its dynamic performances and unique blended sound, has called 2024 a "Mamba Mentality" year — a reference to the hard work and relentless drive exemplified by the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
