KENNESAW, Ga. — The newest member of the Kennesaw Police Department has traveled a long way to join the force.
The department on Thursday welcomed K-9 Halo with a post on Facebook. It said the one-and-a-half year old Belgian Malinois comes to Kennesaw from the Netherlands.
"K9 Halo was introduced to the Mayor and City Council and is officially on-duty!" the post stated. "K9 Halo will live, work, and play with his partner, Officer Burns!"
