The former Georgia estate of country music legend Kenny Rogers is set to be auctioned off.

The 973-acre estate, known as Beaver Dam Farms, will hit the auction block on July 9, according to a release from The Wilbert Group. (See photos below!)

Rogers conceived, designed and built the Colbert, Ga. estate, which is about 15 minutes outside of Athens, Ga.

There's plenty to do on the property. It has three private spring fed lakes, a 12,000-square foot mansion, five guest houses and a clubhouse, lake clubhouse, 2 acres under roof equestrian/multipurpose arena with 44 stalls, two swimming pools, two tennis courts and an 18-hole championship-rated golf course.

Rogers said the property served as a musical inspiration throughout his career.

“I have so many fond memories at Beaver Dam Farms,” Rogers said in a news release. “I still dream about playing golf on its course two to three times a week.”

According to the release, the estate's current owners live on the other side of the country and feel like the time they're away depletes from the beauty of the property.

The property will be sold, fully furnished, to the highest bidder at or above $3.5 million. The "estimated replacement cost" of the property is between $30 million and $40 million, according to the Wilbert Group.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said Todd Good of Accelerated Marketing Group, the company marketing the auction.. “Beaver Dam Farms is rich in history and uniqueness, and someone is going to get a steal July 9 at the auction.”
