LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Police are searching for a man who stabbed a driver while at a red light on Monday.
The victim was found lying behind his truck with three other men standing around him. The three witnesses told police they saw the victim walking around "as if he was drunk" but then saw he was covered in blood.
The victim said he had been stabbed multiple times in his stomach by a white male with a shaved head when he was stopped at a red light. The suspect had pulled up next to his car, got out, walked over to the victim's car, opened the door and stabbed him.
He attempted to drive off after getting stabbed but the suspect started to follow him. He then pulled over and the suspect's vehicle continued south down Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
The victim is unsure of exactly where the stabbing occurred but was able to take a picture of the suspect's vehicle as he drove away.
Police are searching for a blue, early 2000s Mazda Protege 5 and a white male who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 170 pounds. He appears to be between 30 and 40 years old.
