ATLANTA — Kroger Health, part of The Kroger Co., is offering new healthcare services for seniors at eight Little Clinic locations in the Atlanta area. These clinics, located inside Kroger stores, will make it easier for seniors to get the care they need.
The clinics will offer seniors longer visits with healthcare providers to address their specific needs, according to a release.
Services will include yearly check-ups, preventive care, managing chronic conditions and creating personalized care plans. Seniors can also access other Kroger Health services, such as nutrition advice and medication reviews.
James Kirby, Kroger Health's chief commercial officer, emphasized the importance of convenient and expert care for seniors.
"We are dedicated to giving our senior citizens the personalized care they deserve," he said. "We are excited to bring this senior-focused care to the Atlanta area, especially in places that don’t have enough medical services."
With this new service, Kroger Health and Better Health Group aim to significantly improve the health and well-being of seniors in the Atlanta area by providing them with necessary care.
Locations for the clinics have not been announced.
