Street artist pays tribute to Outkast with giant mural in Little Five Points

The faces of Big Boi and Andre 3000 of iconic Atlanta duo Outkast now loom over Little Five Points.

ATLANTA — It's an instant legendary tribute worthy of Atlanta legends.

A new mural was unveiled over the weekend in the city's Little Five Points neighborhood, and it pays tribute to two voices of Atlanta who helped put the city on the map as a hip-hop haven.

The faces of Big Boi and Andre 3000, who make up iconic Atlanta duo Outkast, now loom over the neighborhood near the intersection of Euclid and Moreland Avenue.

The 65-foot mural - based on photographs by hip-hop photographer Jonathan Mannion - was painted by Greensboro, North Carolina-based artist JEKS in collaboration with retailer Wish ATL, the ABV Agency and the Outerspace Project.

It's already a hit online - with Instagram users taking selfies and tagging the mural.

"Hope I did the goats justice," JEKS wrote.

We have a feeling Oukast would agree - he did.
