ROSWELL, Ga. — Love comes in many forms, but none as heartwarming as the bond between a devoted Roswell couple and their beloved canine companion.
This International Dog Day, Magnolia Place of Roswell Senior Living shared a story that perfectly captures the joy pets bring into our lives.
Jerry and Tony Dore, residents at Magnolia Place, have been smitten with Daisy Rose, their Shih Tzu Bichon mix, for seven years. Their previous pup, who looked strikingly similar, paved the way for this furry new addition to their family. The stars aligned when Tony spotted an ad in the newspaper and discovered that Daisy Rose was born on their wedding anniversary — a sign they couldn’t ignore.
The couple will never forget the day they welcomed Daisy Rose into their lives.
“You would think we were waiting for a VIP,” Jerry fondly recalled, describing the anticipation as they awaited her arrival at the Atlanta Airport. That day began a journey filled with love, laughter, and endless tail wags.
Daisy Rose quickly proved herself to be more than just a pretty face. After completing eight weeks of behavioral training, she has become a well-behaved and cherished member of the Dore household.
“It’s a pleasure to have her in our lives,” Jerry says. “She is well taken care of, and we couldn’t be more pleased.”
At Magnolia Place of Roswell, Daisy Rose is a familiar and beloved resident-pet known for bringing smiles to everyone she meets.
“Stories like Jerry, Tony, and Daisy Rose remind us of the joy that pets bring into our lives,” says Kandie Romano, Sales Director of Magnolia Place of Roswell. “Their bond is an incredible example of how a furry friend can light up our days and enrich our community in meaningful ways.”
