ATLANTA — Atlanta Police Department homicide detectives are investigating what led up to a 54-year-old man's death at a motel Friday morning.
APD said officers responded shortly after 10:45 a.m. to the Cheshire Motor Inn at 1865 Cheshire Bridge Rd. NE for a "person down" call. When officers entered the inn, police said they found the man and EMS pronounced him dead.
APD did not provide any further details about what happened, as homicide investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
