DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Police are looking into the circumstances of a shooting where a man was found dead along the side of a roadway over the weekend.
Officers said they responded to the 4100 block of Flat Shoals Parkway on New Year's Eve around 1:40 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 33-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound. He was located just off the roadway in a grassy area.
Detectives went to the scene to begin conducting an investigation. No other details about what happened were released.
