Man dead after being found shot in chest along I-85 ramp in Brookhaven, police say

On Saturday, police said the man had died from a single gunshot after being taken to Grady Hospital.

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Brookhaven Police are investigating after a man died after he was found shot in the chest along the I-85 southbound ramp from North Druid Hills Road Friday evening.

On Saturday, police said the man had died from a single gunshot after being taken to Grady Hospital.

Officers were initially called out to the scene after they received reports that a person was hit by a car. Police said when they got there; they found the man unresponsive on the curb of the interstate ramp with a gunshot wound to the chest.
