Man ejected from truck, killed after rollover in DeKalb County, police say

Police said he sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
City leaders say the AMR contract promised wait time of 12 minutes or less.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was killed on Saturday morning after he lost control of his truck, flipped it and was ejected in DeKalb County, police said.

Officers responded to Memorial Drive and Rays Road in Stone Mountain just after 8:30 a.m. for a report of a single-vehicle crash. When officers got there, they found the truck flipped over and the 55-year-old ejected on the road.

Police said he sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he died. Crash investigators are working to determine how the truck lost control.
