CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - A car riddled with bullets was hauled away from the scene as police investigated a deadly shooting in Riverdale. It happened around 1 a.m., Monday on Roy Huie Road near Camp Street.
Police said a man was shot while driving away from the Noble Oaks and Twelve Oaks Apartments. He then went off the road, and the car flipped on its side.
One neighbor tells 11Alive he heard about eight gunshots and then a crash.
Police said they have no suspects and no motive at this point. They don't know if the gunman was in another vehicle or standing in the parking lot when he fired at the victim's car.
They have not released the victim's name or age.
