MARIETTA, Ga. – Police have arrested one person and are looking for another in connection with a Friday night shooting death.
Police have arrested Mekhi Ahmad Hilali, 18, in the murder of Tyon Gorman, 17. Hilali is facing charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm or knife during commission of a crime.
Police said the shooting happened at 1750 Bells Ferry Road shortly before 6:30 pm. Police found Gorman shot at least once.
Police are also looking for Je'marquis Wright, 17, for questioning.
Gorman was taken to Kennestone Hospital but later died from his injuries.
