MARIETTA, GA (WXIA) – For the first time, we are hearing from the mother of a woman who disappeared a year ago.

Twenty-seven year-old Tiffany Whitton was last seen standing outside a Walmart in Marietta. Her mother started a Facebook page, hoping to get answers.

Now, there is a reward in the case.

Lisa Daniels is desperate for answers – for herself, for her family, and especially for a 7-year-old girl who misses her mommy.

Daniels clutches her missing daughter's photo outside the place where Whitton was last seen a year ago – September 13, 2013.

"I'm just begging," Daniels said. "I know that people know. I know somebody out there knows where she is; what happened to her. Who might be involved."

Marietta Police are offering a $2,500 reward in hopes of getting someone to talk.

They've spent a year digging for answers, including in the back yard of Whitton's boyfriend's home. They have also put up flyers, keeping a 'Find Tiffany Whitton' Facebook page active. Daniels says she is living a nightmare and just cannot wake up.

"I have to make myself breathe. Some days, I have to remind myself to breathe," Daniels said. "I miss her. I worry for her. I grieve for her. That's what it's been like – a horrible, horrible year."

Daniels says she prays every night. Sometimes it's a desperate prayer, and sometimes it's peaceful, because she trusts God has a plan.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (404-577-8477).
