STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — A MARTA bus driver was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after he was struck by a car while walking back to the bus, the transit authority said.
It all happened at Davidson Circle and Highway 138 in Stockbridge. Clayton County Police said the driver who hit the bus driver sped off, and it is being investigated as a hit-and-run.
MARTA officials said the driver suffered a head injury and was taken to Grady Hospital to be treated for his injuries. The severity of his injuries are not known at this time.
