EAST POINT, Ga. — A man has been struck and killed by a train after a spokesperson for MARTA said he fell onto the northbound tracks at the East Point station Monday.
Authorities have offered minimal details about the incident. However, they are warning travelers that MARTAConnect is in effect because of the disruption in rail service.
Bus transportation will be provided from College Park to Lakewood and MARTAConnect is available for discounted Uber or Lyft trips through the area. People can use this link for Lyft credit.
MARTA Police are at the East Point station investigating.
