ATLANTA — Atlanta firefighters battled a fire at a McDonald's Monday morning.
The flames sparked at the McDonald's at 1105 Northside Drive NW, which is located not far from Puttshack and the Barcelona Wine Bar.
When firefighters arrived around 9 a.m., Atlanta Fire Rescue said they found flames coming from the back of the fast-food restaurant. Officials added that firefighters conducted an "offensive fire attack" to extinguish flames.
11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene, where part of McDonald's roof appears to be scorched.
The Fulton County Marshall evacuated everyone inside the McDonald's before firefighters arrived, according to Atlanta Fire Rescue.
No one was hurt and officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
