STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -- Police are searching for two persons of interest that they wish to contact after a fatal shooting at a Stockbridge motel.
Police responded to the Stay Inn and Suites on Davidson Parkway Saturday morning to reports of gunfire.
A spokesperson for the Clayton County Police Department said there was only one victim and that the shooting was not fatal. However, emergency responders transported the victim in critical condition. Police later confirmed that the victim had died.
Now, police are searching for 35-year-old Adrian Fillmore and 37-year-old Christopher Bause.
Fillmore is described as a black male who is about 6 feet 3 inches tall and 220 pounds. Bause is said to be a white male who is about 6 feet tall and 230 pounds.
Their connection to the crime has not been released however they are being considered persons of interest in a murder investigation.
