Columbia County teen who went missing after leaving church found safe

Police near Augusta are searching for a 14-year-old boy they say went missing on Monday night.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office put out a missing juvenile notice for Jordan Dominick, a 14-year-old last seen in Grovetown, about 20 minutes east of Augusta.

Dominick is described as 5-feet-tall and 125 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Police said he left Quest Church on Gateway Blvd. in Grovetown on Monday night around 7:36 p.m. and was believed to be heading toward Starling Court in that same town.

He was wearing a black shirt with white writing.
