Aniyah Smith has been missing since Sept. 26. Her mother, Jhanale Harris, told the organization that she last saw her daughter at their home in metro Atlanta.

ATLANTA — The search for a missing Atlanta 14-year-old girl continues after she disappeared six week ago, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Aniyah Smith has been missing since Sept. 26. Her mother, Jhanale Harris, told the organization that she last saw her daughter at their home in metro Atlanta that morning. When her mother left to drop her youngest off at school, Smith disappeared when she returned.

Harris is deeply concerned for her daughter's well-being, she told the organization. The NCMEC said that she is believed to still be in the metro area.

Smith was reported missing previously two years ago in 2021 after going to a friend's house before her recent disappearance.

NCMEC said Smith is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She also has brown eyes with black hair.

The 14-year-old will be featured on the Ring's Neighbors app, which will reach millions of uses providing assistance in locating missing children.

Anyone who spots Smith or has any information about her disappearance should call the organization at 1-800-843-5678 or Atlanta Police at  1-404-614-6544.
