CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 9-month-old girl was returned after police say she went missing with her 31-year-old father.
A Mattie's Call was issued for the 9-month-old and her father, Chastin Brinkley. Police believed the 31-year-old had her with him in a truck he borrowed, but never returned.
While the Mattie's Call is canceled for the child, police still need help finding Brinkley, who was diagnosed with a mental illness.
Police responded to the initial missing person's call on March 4.
Brinkley is described as having black hair, brown eyes, standing 6-feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a green/black checkered sweater vest and black slippers, according to a Facebook post from Clayton County Police.
When Brinkley was believed to be traveling with his daughter, he was last seen in a 2010 GMC Sierra truck with Georgia license plate: #TCM0250.
