BRASELTON, Ga. — A Mattie's Call has been issued for a 57-year-old man who hasn't been seen in days.
The Georgia State Patrol said the Braselton Police Department is looking for Jeffrey Steven Helms. Authorities said Helms has dementia and other medical issues.
He was last seen on Oct. 3 near the Dairy Queen on Highway 53 in Braselton.
Helms is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He might be driving a 2000 white Chevy S-10 with the Georgia license plate PWR2786.
He has hazel eyes and black hair. Anyone who sees him is asked to Jackson County authorities at 706-367-1911.
