Gwinnett County teen found safe, family says

A teen girl was found safe after she disappeared at Archer High School, her family said in a Monday update.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Update: The teen has been found safe, according to a Monday update from her family. 

Original Story: A teen is missing in Gwinnett County after not returning from school on Halloween, according to a statement from her family. 

A 17-year-old girl was last seen at Archer High School on Oct. 31, her family said in a flyer. 

"She has no money or means of transportation or food and also has no friends or other family in the surrounding area," Quovadus Blake, her father, said in a statement. 

He described his daughter as being 5 feet and 3 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. Quovadus Blake said his daughter wears her hair cut short to her shoulders in a bob. 

Gwinnett County Police Department said an agent has been assigned to the case to investigate her disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the department at 770-513-5000 with any information.
