ATLANTA — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help in finding a missing teenage girl out of Indianapolis who may be traveling through Georgia,
Authorities are searching for 14-year-old Akary Cruz. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said she left her home on Dec. 19 with her 20-year-old boyfriend, Esvin Cruz Cante.
Police said Akary left a note "stating that both her and Esvin are in love and want to be together and are planning to leave for Guatemala where Esvin is from."
The missing person flyer from authorities said Akary has black hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.
Esvin was last seen driving a blue 2010 Honda Civic with license plate number 783CNO.
