Missing 16-year-old found safe, Atlanta Police say

ATLANTA — Update: In an update Monday evening, authorities said the teen boy had been found safe.

A 16-year-old is missing in Atlanta, police said on Sunday.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, 16-year-old Jacob Parker left his home in the Whittier Mill Village neighborhood after an argument on Saturday, Dec. 16 and hasn't returned since then.

His father called police and officers responded just before 8 p.m. on Saturday night.

Jacob left the home on foot, police said. He is described as 5-foot-6, weighing 110 pounds. He was last seen in a black shirt with black sweatpants, and a photo of him can be seen below:

The Atlanta Police Department said: "If anyone has seen Jacob Parker or knows of his whereabouts, they are asked to contact 911 immediately, the Atlanta Police Department's Special Victim's Unit at (404) 546-4260, or Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-TIPS (8477)."
