NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — The Newton County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help finding a missing man.
According to law enforcement, Brandon Herd, 29, left his home on Feb. 3 and has not answered phone or text messages from family. He was last seen around the area of West Macedonia Church Rd. in Oxford.
The family said they are concerned due to his mental stability and previous statements about suicide. Herd struggles with mental health, and the family said the last time he went missing, he was located in Florida.
Herd is 6 feet tall and weighs 215 lbs.
