GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — It's been exactly two years since a Gwinnett County 25-year-old woman disappeared, and no one has heard from her since. On Wednesday, Gwinnett County Police said that that "all leads have been exhausted."

Selena Garcia was reported missing on October 23, 2022, from a home on Dickens Terrace in Lilburn. The police report states that her sister saw a message Selena got from a friend shortly after her disappearance.

In that message, Selena’s friend asks the 25-year-old if she feels safe, to which she replies, “I’d rather be with you.

Gwinnett County Police previously told 11Alive last year that they do not believe a crime occurred.

“At this point, it’s not considered a criminal investigation,” Sergeant Pihera previously said. “You can report somebody missing at any point in time if they’ve been missing for 10 minutes 3 weeks, or even longer. Since there’s no crime associated with this, there’s no suspects.”

Garcia was known to frequent Lilburn, Norcross and Buford.

She is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She also has brown eyes and straight brown hair. She has various tattoos, such as a dark green marijuana plant on her hand, the number "503" on her right-hand fingers and "Maria" on her wrist.
