Columbia, S.C. (WLTX) — Richland County deputies arrested two people they say solicited a 16-year-old into prostitution.
Deputies say the teen performed sexual acts for money at the Eve's Haven and Spa on Broad River Road, which is owned by 38-year-old Yevett Michelle Pratt.
Pratt's son, 18-year-old Carban Kiaeem Epps, allegedly recruited the teen, and introduced her to his mother, while also providing the teen's transportation to the massage parlor.
The incident occurred between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31, 2017, according to a report.
Pratt and Epps are both charged with trafficking/trafficking in person, victim under 18 years old. Pratt was transported to the Richland County Detention Center. Epps is being held a the Newberry County Jail on unrelated charges, but will be transported to the Richland County Detention Center.
