ATLANTA -- Just hours after a little girl was found abandoned inside a car in an Atlanta bank parking lot, police have found the child's mother.
According to Atlanta Police, the 18-month-old girl was left in a car on the corner of Lee Street and Oglethorpe Road on the west end of the Bank of America parking lot. The car was a silver Chrysler Pacifica with a Michigan license plate.
At 3:17 p.m., Atlanta police tweeted that the mother, 32-year-old Crystal Hitts of Michigan, had been found.

The family of Hitts told police she was recently diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and left Michigan two days before and was heading for Atlanta - though police said they would not venture into clinical descriptions of her mental state during a Saturday afternoon press conference.
Investigators said Hitts last spoke to an uncle in Mableton, Ga. in Cobb County on Thursday, but no one had heard from her since.
She was found in Riverdale, Ga. in good condition and they believe she may have gotten a ride after abandoning her vehicle and the child.
Police said that there appeared to be a "disconnect" when Hitts was found several miles away from where the child was left.
Police said she never mentioned having a child in the 20 minute drive back to APD headquarters, did not ask about the child's condition and has not mentioned the baby during questioning.
She also told police that the clothes she was wearing at the time were not her own.
Police believe she doesn't remember much of what happened between the moment she stopped at an area bank and when she was found in Riverdale. And while police said they do not believe she is lying, they said she will face charges of child abandonment and reckless conduct.
The child has been placed in Georgia Division of Family and Children' Services (DFCS) custody.
