CUMMING, Ga. — The Forsyth County Animal Shelter is now offering virtual adoptions, to help reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
The shelter made the announcement last week that they would be performing virtual adoptions and lost animal walkthroughs on their website.
Interested in Adopting:
All of our adoptable animals are viewable on the shelter website under the “Adoptable Animals Link.” You can learn about each pets’ personality, view photos and videos of the pets, and even little quirks that make the pet unique.
If you see an animal you wish to adopt, please fill out an adoption survey and submit via email to animalshelterinfor@forsythco.com and an Adoption Associate will call you to discuss the next steps.
Lost an Animal:
If you have lost a pet, shelter officials ask that you submit a “Lost Report” online. You are asked to include a photo of your pet when submitting the report. Also, the Forsyth County Animal Shelters web page lists all stray pets that have entered the facility in real-time. These pets can be found under the “Lost and Found Tab” of our website. If you see your lost pet on our website, please give us a call at 678-965-7185 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
