Cumming fine arts center hosts its grand re-opening

CUMMING, Ga. — After some renovations, the Cumming Fine Arts Center has re-opened with the help of community leaders.

The center held its grand re-opening on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at its location on Pilgrim Mill Road in the historic Brannon-Heard House. The ceremony included an address by Mayor Troy Bumbalow, featured artists and art show, and giveaways.

The arts center is open to the public and consists of art exhibits in five galleries. The center features monthly artists' shows, membership gatherings, and art outreach programs.

The Sawnee Arts Association is open:

  • Thursday: 11 am–5 pm
  • Friday: 11 am–5 pm
  • Saturday: 11 pm–5 pm
  • Sunday: 1–5 pm
