EAST POINT, Ga. -- For some, the farmer's market can seem a bit intimidating, especially for those accustomed to the everyday grocery store but there’s so many benefits to experiencing local, fresh goods.
Sissie Lang of East Point Farmer’s Market says, “It’s very important to foster good health habits through food and produce.”
The East Point Farmer’s Market offers fresh and sustainably grown produce from local farmers like Andrew Lundstrom and doubles EBT benefits dollar for dollar, helping participants provide more food for their families through SNAP and Wholesome Wave Georgia’s Fresh for Less program.
There’s a lot more to find outside of fresh fruit and vegetables at East Point farmers market. Local entrepreneurs like Soaplistic Scents owner, Lovin Spirit enjoy the opportunity of showcasing their homemade products in front of East Point residents.
